What to Expect

What are church services like?

At New Hope Legacy, we experience engaging and dynamic worship each week, blending contemporary music with occasional traditional hymns to teach us God’s word and draw us into His presence. Moreover, you are welcome to express your worship freely to God, as we believe there are many ways to connect with Him. For some people, that means singing and clapping, while for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words. However, the way you choose to worship God is entirely your decision!

What are the sermons like?

Each week at New Hope Legacy, we bring a Biblically-grounded and uplifting message, designed to inspire, encourage, and challenge you in your walk with God. Regardless of whether you are a seasoned child of God or just getting to know Him, our goal is to help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Additionally, we strive to provide a strong Biblical foundation for your life.

Is there a ministry for my kids?

Treehouse Kids’ ministry is designed to be a fun and safe environment where your child will have the opportunity to experience God in an age-appropriate way. We welcome children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Is there a nursery?

We offer a fully-stocked nursery space, where parents of infants may take care of the littlest members of the family while still participating in service through the live video feed. If you prefer, you are also welcome to keep your children with you in the auditorium throughout the service!

Do you take up an offering?

Each week, we welcome you to worship God through tithes and offerings because we believe it pleases God when we honor Him with our finances. But, we refrain from pressuring people to give.

Where should I park?

We have plenty of space in our parking lot at Hale Kui Plaza. You may access our main entrance on the second floor via stairwells at each end of the building. Also, an elevator is located at the South end of the building (farthest from Pink Mocha Cafe) for your convenience. Directions are available on our Contact Page.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel at home, so it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a t-shirt. But, if you prefer slacks and an aloha shirt, that’s fine too! Our building is air conditioned for your comfort.

Turn mauka (toward the mountain) onto Hina Lani, then right onto Kamanu St.

Turn left into Hale Kui Plaza (across from Home Depot).

New Hope Legacy is on the second floor, in suites 202, 203 & 204, above Pink Mocha Cafe.

Stairwells are at both ends of the building, as well as an elevator at the south end.
