Visiting a new church can feel intimidating, but we want to make your first experience as welcoming and easy as possible. Whether you’ve gone to church your whole life or have never set foot in one before, you are welcome here just as you are.

New Hope Legacy is a multicultural, multi-generational family that reflects our Big Island community. Wherever you’re from, and whatever your story–there’s a place for you here!

What to Expect

🕒 Service Times & Location

  • Sunday Services: 9:30 AM

  • Location: 73-4976 Kamanu St, Ste 202, Kailua Kona, HI 96740

  • Online Stream: Available every Sunday at 9:30 AM on Youtube and Facebook

☕ Arrival & Parking

  • Parking: We have reserved visitor parking spots near the main entrance. Follow the parking signs as you pull in!

  • When to arrive: We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to grab a complimentary cup of coffee, get your keiki checked in to Treehouse kids ministry, and find a comfortable seat.

  • Greeters: Look for our friendly Welcome Team at the front doors. They can answer questions, point you toward the sanctuary, or help you check in your children.

👕 What Should I Wear?

Come in whatever makes you feel comfortable! You’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. There is no dress code here—we care about you, not your clothes.

🎶 What is the Service Like?

Our services last about 60 minutes and include:

  1. Worship: A mix of modern and traditional songs led by our worship team.

  2. Teaching: A practical, Bible-based message relevant to everyday life.

  3. Prayer & Reflection: A moment to reflect and respond to the message, and to receive prayer.

👶 What About My Kids?

We love families! We offer safe, fun, and age-appropriate environments for children from Pre-K through Junior High at the Treehouse during all Sunday services.

  • Check-In: First-time check-in takes about 3 minutes. Our kids’ volunteers will guide you through the process and answer any safety questions.

  • Safety: All volunteers undergo background checks and safety training, and our Safety Team ensures a safe environment for the whole family.

  • Prefer to keep them with you? Children are always welcome in the main sanctuary during the service!

  • Have a dedicated host meet you at the front doors.

  • Help pre-check your kids so you don’t have to wait in line.

  • Answer any questions you have beforehand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to give money during the offering?

No. Scripture says to “…decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure.” (2 Cor. 9:7)

We’re just glad to have you with us!

Is the building accessible?

Yes! Though we are located on the second floor of our building, there is an elevator available for your convenience. Accessible restrooms are also available.

What if I’m not sure what I believe?

You don’t need to have everything figured out to join us. We encourage questions and welcome people at every stage of their spiritual journey.
