What To Expect

We want you to feel at home, from your very first visit. Below are some frequently asked questions, but please contact us if you have any questions. Come as you are, and let’s grow together!

What’s the worship service like?

At New Hope Legacy we experience engaging and dynamic worship each week, with a mixture of contemporary music and occasionally traditional hymns to teach us God’s word and draw us into His presence. You are welcome to express your worship freely to God. For some people that means singing and clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. The way you worship God is your decision!

What about the sermon?

Each week at New Hope Legacy we bring a Biblically-grounded and uplifting message that is designed to inspire, encourage, and challenge you in your walk with God–whether you are a seasoned child of God, or just getting to know Him. Our goal is to help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, and provide a strong Biblical foundation for your life.

Is there a ministry for my kids?

Our ‘Treehouse’ kid’s ministry is designed to be a fun and safe environment where your child will have the opportunity to experience God in an age-appropriate way. Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to attend. We also offer a fully-stocked nursery space, where parents of infants may take care of the littlest members of the family while still participating in service through the live video feed. If you prefer, you are also welcome to keep your children with you throughout the service!

Do you take up an offering?

Each week, we welcome you to worship God through tithes and offerings. We believe it pleases God when we honor Him with our finances, but we refrain from pressuring people to give.

Where should I park?

We have plenty of space in our parking lot at Hale Kui Plaza. You may access our main entrance on the second floor via stairwells at each end of the building, and an elevator is also located at the South end of the building (farthest from Pink Mocha Cafe) for your convenience.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel at home. It’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a t-shirt…but if you prefer slacks and an aloha shirt, that’s fine too! Our building is air conditioned for your comfort.
